DEE WALLACE GALIFFA, 76, of Long Beach, California, passed away on September 18, 2015 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born August 4, 1939 in Monongahela, Pa. to a close knit Italian family. He was talented musician, a skilled business man and a wonderful father and husband. His career spanned 60 years in radio, T.V., newspaper, and marketing and he touched many lives along the way. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Dorothy and Frank Galiffa. He is survived by his children: Danielle (Steve) Campbell, Brad and Eric Galiffa and his seven grandchildren along with his sister Rhea and numerous family and friends. Services will be held at 7200 Magnolia Ave Riverside, Ca at Magnolia Presbyterian Church on October 3, 2015 at 3pm. A lasting quote from Dee "Horace Wink" on his sendoff for his radio show "Be good to people on your way up because you never know who you might meet on the way down.

I just found out he had passed! I shed many tears today for my dear friend of many years. My thoughts were after you moved i was certain you were very busy and we just failed to keep in touch!
My heart smiles for the good times and cherished friendship!

So sorry to hear of Dee's passing. I was his keyboard player with the Horace Winkk Rock and Roll Oldies Review in the early 70's. I will always remember the fun we had and the music we made. I lost contact with him too many years ago but will always remember him as one of the "good guys".

Dee Galiffa was a talented man -- in many ways. More important, he was a dear friend for nearly 60 years and I miss him. My sincere condolences to his family. Those who knew and admired Dee thank his family and thank God for sharing him with us.
