Today, January 28, 2020, for unknown reasons, I had a nagging desire to know what happened to Nang Dory. I was a legal officer at the Bureau of Mines. My last contact with her was in or about 1979 or 1980. I also worked for a while with Nong Samy on a certain project. I, together with Pabling Ayson, would sometime visit their residence not far from the office. Nang Dory, when she was there, would always make us feel at home and not just as guests but almost members of their family. She was a good and understanding wife, mother, and co-worker. Her accompanying picture shows her as having aged gracefully. This attractive lady was the perfect pair for Nong Samy.
She afffectionately called me "Nanding".
Well . . Nanding will forever miss you, Nang Dory. May you and Nong Samy rest in peace.
