JAMES GEORGE CAMENISCH
Age 91, of Acworth, GA passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018. He was born in Peru, Illinois on June 6, 1926 to the late Adolf and Bertha Camenisch.
James was known for his fun personality. He enjoyed telling jokes and stories. He always seemed to know someone no matter where he went. Some of James' hobbies include doing jigsaw puzzles, word searches and collecting old coins and buttons. He also enjoyed airplanes, trains and vintage cars and had a great passion for his service as a World War II army veteran.
James Camenisch is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Ann Camenisch and son-in-law Edward Barnes. He is survived by his son James Michael Camenisch and his wife Wendy; daughter Cathy Barnes; grandson Kenneth Camenisch and his wife Misty; great step granddaughter, Mackenzie Rowell; and great grandson Kenneth James Camenisch.
The family of James will receive friends for a visitation at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, GA on March 14, 2018 at 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A service to honor his life will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet CA 92543. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Following a graveside service at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery located at 2555 S. Santa Fe St., San Jacinto CA.
