HERMELIA GONZALES ROMO went to be with the Lord March 16, 2016. She was 95 years old. Born in Del Rio, Texas on October 17th, 1920 to Cayetano and Ruth Gonzales she moved to California in 1931 with her 4 siblings. She has resided in Selma, Riverside and Orange. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Romo; her long time companion Sam; her sister Odelia; brothers Obed and Cayetano. She is survived by her brother Herbert Gonzales; her children Steve (Sandy) Fraijo, Enid Fraijo, Robert (Elaine) Fraijo, Conccetta (David) Ogan, and Desiree (Frank) DeQuardo; 26 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren. Visitation & viewing is March 25, 2016 at Glen Abby Funeral Home, 3838 Bonita Rd., Bonita, CA 91902, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial service 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and reception & celebration of her life 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at VFW Post 2111, 299 "I" St. Chula, Vista, CA 91910.
