KATHLEEN RICHELLE MCDOUGALL OSWALD Kathleen Richelle McDougall Oswald, beloved daughter of Mac and Sue McDougall went home to be with Jesus on October 21, 2013 at age 53. Kathleen was born on July 13, 1960 in Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated from Cerritos High School in 1978, where she made her mark in the school plays, and as a cheerleader. She was voted "Most Talented" by her class. In later years she was to resume sharing her talents in acting, singing, dancing and costume design for the many stage productions at The Grove Community Church in Riverside. More recently she was a member of the trio, Sentimental Journey, singing the songs of the Andrews Sisters, and entertaining our Veterans and troops at various local Patriotic events. Christ-centered and family oriented, Kathleen was an inspiration to her two children, Jennifer and Jeff, leading them to know Jesus Christ. Making memories and spending time with loved ones were her priority, including summers at Lake Tahoe, ski trips to Mammoth and frequent family visits to Disneyland. Kathy died peacefully at her home in Menifee from a rapidly growing cancer. She will always remain in the hearts of anyone who ever knew her and be remembered for her generosity, warmth, beauty, style, grace, humor, faith and love. She is survived by her loving husband Tom Oswald; parents Mac and Sue McDougall; daughter Jennifer Stout and husband Ross; son Jeff Lewis and his wife Kate and 5 adoring grandchildren, Taylor, Karsyn and Jake, Landon and Riley who she loved very much. Kathleen will always be remembered with lots of love and laughter by her brother Rusty McDougall, his wife Trang and his children, and her sister Kim Bengard, husband Tom and their children. A Memorial celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Grove Community Church; 19900 Grove Community Drive, Riverside, Ca. 92508. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project: WoundedWarriorProject.org or mail to P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675.
