HELEN "VIRGINIA" PENMAN
Age 97, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2018 in Perris, California. Virginia was born in Hilts, California on March 28,1921 to Leroy and Dorothy Tyrrell. She was raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Upon graduation from the University of Oregon she moved to Los Angeles, California where she married Douglas Penman and later divorced. During her career she held positions from running her own print shop to working as a CFO for BD&G Co. in Vernon, retiring in 1987. In 1991 she moved to Moreno Valley and continued a lifelong love of volunteering within her community. She was active as a proud member of Moreno Valley Community Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Virginia is survived by her daughters Teri Ann Trenchard, Tami Tyrrell Soto (Jesus Soto); grandchildren Christopher Jay Daniels, Jacob Alexander Daniels, and Benjamin Samuel Soto. Memorial services will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Road, Sun City, California April 19, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at this location from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
