RUTH MACIAS HERNANDEZ
Ruth was born on July 4,1921 in Riverside, California and passed away in Grand Terrace, California on February 12, 2018 surrounded by the family she loved so much. She is now reunited with her husband, Victor, and other family members who have preceded her. Ruth was a wonderful, unselfish, caring woman, always caring for others. It was her job to take care of her many younger brothers and sisters, and as the years passed, it was her joy to care for her children and grandchildren. Ruth loved them all. She was creative, busy, vibrant and never sat still. She always had sewing projects, gardening, and cooked for what seemed like an army. She gladly helped everybody in her family, no job was too big or too small. Ruth is survived by her five children, three daughters, Diana Hernandez, Ruth Partello, Livia Earp, and two sons, Victor and James Hernandez, and by her five sisters, Lovey, Armida, Gloria, Margaret, and Helen, and by four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren. She leaves behind so many who loved and cherished her. They will always have such fond memories of a kind, loving, caring sister, mother, grandmother (Nana), and great grandmother. She will be missed so very much. Ruth will be laid to rest by her beloved husband in Riverside National Cemetery. Services will be held on March 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 12745 Oriole Avenue in Grand Terrace. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard.
