Dr. Mullen was my eye doctor and I went to school with his daughter. My Step-Dad, Steve Haller, was an orthopedic surgeon in Riverside. He passed away 01/03/17 and I still miss him every day. So my sincere condolences to everyone in the Mullen family. I know it's the natural order of things but life just isn't the same once out loved ones leave us. But we forge on with our happy memories of them and feel fortunate to have had them as long as we did.
My very best to you all.
Cheers!

My father, Walter Lech, and Dr. Mullen worked together for many years. Dr. Mullen was the only ophthamalogist I knew until about age 35 and he made it so I could see despite my rather crossed eyes! I remember our family going every year to the desert to get brandied dates as a Christmas present for Dr. Mullen, and he lived just around the corner from us on Arroyo Drive, so my sister and I would deliver them to him. Thank so much for all you did for the Lech family. Steve Lech
