SANDRA (SANDY) LENOW Age 74, formerly of Menifee and Lake Forest, CA. died peacefully July 17, 2013, at her newly adopted home in Edmond, OK. She died from complications associated with lung cancer. Not surprisingly, she fought her illness until the very end, remaining active, and of course, quilting until about 10 days prior to her death. She was married 39 years to Donald before his passing in 1997. Sandra is survived by her sister, Sally; brother, Jerry; son, Patrick and his wife, Kim; her granddaughter, Kriza; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and quilting friends she loved dearly. A service celebrating her life will be held at Church of our Fathers at Forest Lawn, Cypress on August 9 at 2:00 pm. This will be followed by an interment service. Finally, we will share memories with family and friends from 3:30 to 5:00 at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Cerritos, CA. If attending the celebration at BJ's please RSVP to [email protected] so the restaurant may be prepared.

I miss your giggle, traveling to far away places such as Japan. Trips in the RV, love of sushi and quilting. But most of all I miss your friendship. RIP dear friend RIP
