SHIRLEY MAE (OGBURN) NOLAND
Age 79, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born Shirley Mae Ogburn on August 30, 1937 in Hemet, CA. She grew up in San Jacinto, CA and graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1955. She married her husband of 59 years, Larry Noland, in 1957. They settled in Hemet, CA and raised three daughters. Shirley enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and watching her youngest daughter, Lori, play softball, and later, watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play soccer, softball, baseball, and basketball. She was a busy homemaker and "Gram" to all the kids. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Mose and Anna Lorene Ogburn, her brother, Jim Ogburn, and great granddaughter, Alanna Villarreal. Shirley is survived by her husband, Larry; three daughters, Debbie and Charlie Ott, Nita Noland, and Lori and Robert Martinez. In addition, she is survived by 11 grandchildren, Lisa, Micah, Jon, Rachael, Stephen, Bella, Adrian, Alicia, Melissa, Derek and Cody; as well as 10 great grandchildren, and 1 on the way.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Miller-Jones Mortuary, located at 1501 W. Florida Ave., Hemet, CA. Followed by a private burial at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
