Dear Sue and family:
My prayers for peace and comfort and love to you all. I remember your Father (and your Mother) being so kind and warm towards me when I visited your home in Indio. Hope you may find comfort in the good times and memories with your Dad.
I was trying to contact you somehow online this summer before all this happened. My Mom just passed away in S.B. If you think your Pastor or someone he knows might lead services at my Mom's memorial, hope you will get in touch soon: [email protected].
Lots of love to you, Shawn Houghton

I would like to offer my condolences to the family. A common text, regarding the near future, that comforts me states: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. I hope this brings you all comfort as well.

I was deeply saddened to learn that Ted had passed away. It has been an honor for me to know Ted since our first meeting heading to the basketball tournament in Tulsa. There were numerous games after that when we would talk basketball and so much more. I will always remember the wonderful stay in Lake Melissa. Ted proved to be a great guide in an area that was all new to me. Ted was a true gentleman, kind and thoughtful. My thoughts are with Laura and all the family.

We are saddened by your loss, but when we think of Ted, we smile. We met Ted and Laura when we moved to Sunflower by Del Webb in Tucson 12 years ago. Ted was a wonderful neighbor and friend, and we will miss him. When we remember Ted, we think of: Laura, University of Arizona women's volleyball games, ANY UofA sports events, neighborhood parties, kindness, generosity, eating dinner out, family pride, deep voice, twinkling eyes, and the little white car with the dent in it! May you find comfort and strength in your memories of this fine gentleman. We send you our deepest sympathies.
