My sincere condolences to Brenda's family. Brenda brings back great memories, from our Yeshiva days throughout high school, at William Penn. Brenda was sooo funny and fun loving. Her incredible work for Harrisburg's Jewish community and synagogues is unmatched, and she truly deserves all the recognition she received. Her passing brings back fond memories of her late husband Ormand, and her sister- in- law Libby.

My prayers are with you Brenda. Please Rest In Peace

Brenda and I became friends attending Yeshiva Academy and remained friends through junior and senior high school. We ran around together and it brought back a lot of good and funny happenings. I remember going to her house on Green St and she would come up to my house on Reel St. We belonged to the same sorority in high school and I even set her up on a couple blind dates. After school we went our separate ways but we stayed in touch. It has been a long time over the last say 20 yrs since we were in contact but we sure did have crazy times when we hung out together. I will remember them dearly. Sympathy to the family and RIP Brenda! Use to tease her because she was three days older...

I saw the name Brenda Minsky and said I remember a Brenda from Thompson Institute. Of course this was a long time ago, when Thompsons was on 4th Street, next to Jimmie's Hot Dogs. Shhhh, don't tell anyone, but we would sometimes skip those early classes, not sure anymore, but I believe she went with us for coffee, and to Pomeroy's for hot sticky buns or cinnamon sticks. I also visited her family on Green Street a few times. Sorry to hear she passed away, she was a fun girl, and had many good times in her company. Don't remember too much anymore as I getting older just like Brenda.
