To the St. Ledger Family, I have had four teachers who really impacted my life and Mr. St. Ledger was one of them. Dave was simply one of the best educators I have ever had the opportunity to have. He challenged and inspired me, and so many, to challenge ourselves. He gave us confidence in our selves and he gave a a big picture of the value of history. It was my pleasure to have known him. Goodbye, Mr. Chips.

Mr. St. Ledger taught my daughters, and they had the utmost respect and admiration for him. I think what is most telling is that they wept when they heard of his passing. God Bless and keep him, and thank you Mr. St. Ledger for being an inspiration to them.

Heaven has gained a wonderful man that will be missed so much on this earth. He is a fine example of what a man should be. He always asked about myself and my family, and my weekend plans every time I saw him. I will miss seeing his smiling face at the post office, where he came to see me. The world would be a much better place if we all could aspire to be like him.
