MILLERSBURG - Leonard H. Carr Jr., 52, of Millersburg, passed away May 13th at home. He was born September 20, 1966 in Harrisburg the son of the late Leonard H. Carr, Sr. and Patricia (Crisswell) Buffingon. Leonard was married to Doris (Lubold) Carr for 32 years. He worked maintenance for Metal Industries, Hegins for 33 years. He served on the board of the Millersburg Gun & Conservation Club for many years. He was a devoted "Pap-Pap" to his two granddaughters. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Nathan Carr of Harrisburg, a daughter Tiffany Carr of Newville, two grandchildren Alexis and Shelby, sisters Melissa Coleman, Pamela Hostetter, brothers Preston Buffington, Laco Carr, and Chad Carr. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16th at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Millersburg from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM, and again Friday, May 17th from 10-11:00 AM. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Millersburg Gun and Conservation Club, PO Box 493, Millersburg, PA 17061. Very sad to hear of Lenny's passing. I didn't know him well, but he was a constant at the block shoots and always a pleasure to shoot next to. I am very sorry for your loss and I pray you find peace in knowing Lenny is in a better place and hopefully we will all be so lucky as to see him when we get to the other side. Eric
