Sally, I just learned today of Gil's passing and wanted to extend my condolences to you. I remember watching Gil play at the York Closed tournaments back in the 70's and 80's and being mesmerized by his game. It's been many years since I last saw you on the courts so I'm not sure you'll remember me.

Dear Sally:

I'm so sorry to hear of Gil's passing.
He was such a gentle man who displayed much kindness and compassion to my mother and I on so many occasions.
Thank you Gil,
Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear of Gil's passing. He was the surgeon who saved my life with the surgery he did on me. Always had such great respect for him as a man and a surgeon. You will be missed, and my thoughts and prayers to the family.

Dear Sally, Cindy and I were saddened to read of Gil's passing. He was one of our heros in York improving people's lives and a model of sportsmanship, skill and persistence on the tennis court. Peace, Tom Donley
