James D. Hazzard, 86 of Enola, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2020. He was born in 1934 at home in Harrisburg, PA. He was a field radio repairman in the US Army RA SIG C. He worked as a certified Master Technician for VW over 30 years and a Porsche Specialist. Jimmy was always willing to lend a helping hand for the township, his church and his neighbors. Jimmy had a great sense of humor and loved his family and friends. The son of the late William E. Hazzard and Esther D Hartz Hazzard. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Fay E. (Markley) Hazzard; son David Hazzard and wife Vicky, his sisters Shirley Miller and Nancy L. Coulson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Allison, Andrew, William, his 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Diane (Hazzard) Steimling, his sister Viola Rose Whitley, his brothers Robert E. Hazzard, William E. Hazzard, Donald Hazzard, Joseph B. Hazzard and Daniel H. Hazzard. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Jimmy's honor to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, Hospice of Central PA., or St Jude Children's Hospital.
