You all probably won't believe this, but it's your old neighborhood friend Eric Roden here. My sister Lisa forwarded the obituary for old man Kennedy (hope you don't take offense to me using that phrase here) and I felt I should try to get in touch. So many years have gone by since our early days in the route 39 neighborhood. But the memories are there, locked in despite the passage of time. Speaking specifically about memories of James, does anyone happen to recall the day he took off running into the yard to the left of Lawson's property to stomp the life out of a rat? I sure as heck do, and have told countless people off and on throughout my life about that incident. There are many other things I could convey in relation to James and his family, but I will hold back on that until someone directly related - like you Jimmy or Nancy - let me know that you are there. If you are, please respond to me directly by e-mail, [email protected] Or text at 608-443-9048.
