Paul Bokesh

1931 - 2020

Paul "Bo" R. Bokesh, 88, of York Haven entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Manor Care South in York, PA. Born in 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Paul was the son of the late Michael and Isabella(Bartholomeu) Bokesh. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954, and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Paul retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania after 29 years working as a maintenence repairman. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed antiques, car shows, and spending time in his workshop building his Datson pickup truck. Paul is survived by his wife, Elvira (Henning) of whom he was happily married for 45 years. In addition to his wife, Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory, three sons, Dennis Bokesh of Middleton,PA, Douglas Bokesh of Harrisburg, PA, and Curtis Bokesh of York Haven, PA. He leaves six daughters, Kimberly(Bokesh) and husband David Loetz of Parkton, MD, Robin Bokesh and partner Scott Morreale of New Oxford, PA, Melissa Henning and partner Rodney Roach of Windsor, PA, Bonnie(Bokesh) and husband Brian Mayer of York Haven, PA, Crystal Bokesh and partner Aaron Fowler of York Haven, PA, and Vicki (Bokesh) and husband David Bell of Wellsville, PA. He also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at John W. Keffer funeral home located at 902 Mt. Rose Ave, York,PA 17403 at 1:30pm. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30pm. Paul will be laid to rest at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens located at 250 Chestnut Hill Rd, Dallastown, PA following the services. www.pennlive.com/obits
