Charles, Janice and family,

I am saddened by the news of Ruth's passing. We worked together at Kinney's and I was at her retirement party at Hosses in Mechanicsburg. I would stay at your parent's house in the winter when snow was forecasted. She taught me how to do cryptoquote puzzles and I still do them to this day. One day after work in Kinney's parking lot she tried to teach me how to drive her Chevy Cavalier stick shift car. Well I failed, the car bucked and I squealed the tires so we never tried again.

Your dad taught me to eat boiled turnips and potatoes. I was working as a medical assistant at the lung doctors office when your dad was a patient there and made sure I always was the one to room him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
