William Albert Smith, 70, Harrisburg, entered eternal life January 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Donald Smith, Melva Roberta Smith; and sisters, Doris Bigham and Marie Champlain. A graduate of Emmitsburg High School, his employment history included retirement from Land O Lakes Inc., Carlisle, Durham Bus Services and Derry Township School District Transportation. As a member of CrossPoint United Methodist Church, he served with the Hospitality Team. His fraternal and civic affiliations included Hunters and Anglers Club, Moose International, Men's Saturday morning breakfast Bible study group and NRA. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Osha Lynette Smith; daughters, Amy Sweeney (Matthew), Heather Smith (Kevin), Ashley Morris (Jonathan); stepdaughters, Alyssa English (Roy), Talitha Pulvino (Jason), LaNiesha Chisholm, Domonique McClendon; sister, Helen Simpson (Walt); 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, January 18th, at CrossPoint United Methodist Church with viewing at 10 a.m. Interment will be at William Howard Day Cemetery. As dear Bill rests in his Heavenly home, he is deeply missed by his loving family and multitude of friends. Aa a deeply God-fearing man of love, concern, help, humor and good will, Bill is a man who will be loved and missed always. Love to Lynette and family.
