Mr Whippy , i remember him coming in the downtown area of pensacola selling ice cream for 50 cent, when you have the ice cream truck you were running to see which way he was come, many kids would gather at his truck for the nice cold ice cream cone, i also remember when he was a patient in the hospital the last time, to his family thank you for sharing your father , grandfather with all of the children of the world , mr whippy was a kind person , he will be truly missed by many kids who experience his ice cream cone and many frozen item he had on his truck , so we say sleep on mr whippy you are selling nice cold ice cream in heaven now

As a child growing up in Warrington, all the kids would run down the street when Mr. Whippy would play the music from his ice cream truck. That is one of my fondest memories. God bless your family. RIP.

Like so many others, you were a big part of my childhood. You were such a blessing to so many people. Thank you for your years of service, kindness, and wonderful childhood memories. May you Rest In Peace!!
