Mr. Everett and Mrs. Jeanette were our neighbors when I was a little girl, in the early to mid 50's. I remember waiting for him to get home from work so my dad or grandad and I could walk over to see his rabbits! Fond memories! Rest in Peace, Mr. Everett.

Mr. Ashby was an exemplary Christian man, and a great neighbor. He was always eager to share his vast knowledge and experience, and especially his close relationship with his Lord and Savior. I will miss our over-the-fence impromptu discussions on things like the fine art of growing Hubbard squash, and the proper timing on harvesting figs...we'll remember him often.

My thoughts and prayers are with his step-daughter Margaret and family. Mr Ashby was my friend and I loved him. I will miss him.

Please accept my condolences. Know that the God of comfort feels your pain and sorrow. Isaiah 61:1,2 reads: "He sent me (Jesus Christ) to bind up the brokenhearted, ... and To comfort all who mourn, ..."
