Jim & Erin brought a ray of SUNSHINE to our Chevalier neighborhood .
Jim will be long remembered for his just, humble & lovingly merciful Christian example - not to mention his common sense & sense of humor.
Jim leaves a lasting legacy, and when we see the sun shine, we will think of him. Rest in Peace

I was blessed to work with Jim in Dothan. He was sincere in his work and dedication to his friends, family and co-workers. I was able to re-establish some conversations with him after he left Dothan. He sincerely loved Erin and his family and friends. He certainly wasn't shy about sharing his deep and abiding faith. I am saddened for the loss his loved ones are feeling but he has met his Savior and resting now in the arms of Jesus. May God grant peace and serenity at this time and "remember the smiles" in Deepest Sympathy and love, Jane and Eric

I moved to Pensacola from Coshocton in 1998 to be with my daughter who was stationed there with the U.S.Navy. I was so blessed and honored to meet who would become a very dear and treasured friend.....Erin Elizabeth Soderquist. It was a "fairy tale come true" when Jim Bowers came into her life. We had so many good times together and I was so happy to be with them on their wedding day. Jim's faith and devotion to God and his sweet Erin was beyond words. One particular incident that I will never forget is a situation that I just could not handle myself, but Jim stepped in and took the burden from me. My sweet little dog, J.D. was 12 years and developed cancer. He was very sick and I could not bring myself to send him on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Jim not only took care of that and his burial, but had a little service and prayer before he left with with my precious friend. I will forever remember the kindness of Jim's heart. He will be missed by me as well as many others. My deepest love and sympathy to my dear friend Erin❤
