I got to know Richie pretty well the summer of my senior year of high school because we both had accepted scholarships to Wake Forest. Richie from Frankford & me from Archbishop Ryan. We spent a lot of time together during his time at Wake Forest and I have some good stories & great memories. On the field, Richie was a special talent. For those of you who know football, Richie had great feet. Richie wasn't just a very talented football player but a good all around athlete.
I saw Richie a few times over the years, but not enough and I regret that. I know Richie was a great dad & husband, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless you my friend, Zig
