I met your Dad in the early eighties when he was the architect for Providence Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach. He also did the design for our building addition in 1993. He was always very professional and he really cared that we were happy with his design. We were and have enjoyed our church facilities over these many years. And, he was just a nice guy, he always made me smile. I just retired from the church and so enjoyed talking to him occasionally every few years. Take comfort that he was so admired for his work. My sympathy to your family.

I met Carlton 40+ years ago when he was the architect for the building contractor I worked for. I have never forgotten his wit, his smile, and the warm way that he interacted with those around him. RIP Mr. Goodwin. It was a pleasure to know you.
