Fred was my neighbor while his family lived in Carrollton. He was the best kind of neighbor. My first interaction with him back in 1982 was discussing my riding my bike on route 669 to work at Big Star on Church street. He said he wanted his son Peter to be able to ride his bike to the Nike Park to participate in activities there but the road was too dangerous. He wanted a bike trail along the road to safely ride to the park and the other way to Church street so the family could ride there together. I know Fred was the impetus for that bike trail that is now being accomplished many years too late for them, and I believe the trail should be named after him for his efforts. Thank you Fred, for all you have done for our community and county.

So sorry to read about Fred passing crossing over the bridge!! We are so sorry but will keep this kind person close to our hearts. He graduated from Princess Anne High in 1958 and was a fun gentleman. We will all remember the fond memories we have of our friend Fred!!
