Must have been the last to hear,he had passed, thought he was mountain-biking.Fixed the evaporater in his Dodge Dakota. Then, had to do a starter,up in Freedom Park. Was going to help him fix the Volkswagen. Then,Sadler contacted me,told me the news.We jogged down the 5 mile path in Seashore State Park, many times, and he loved dogs, women, and frisbee golf.He will be missed.

Oh my god I'm so sorry I'm just finding out about you my friend. I miss you already. You were a good soul that never hurt anyone and an even better father. I am crushed. Rest in peace Trae.

I had the great pleasure of becoming friends with Trae after meeting him up in Blacksburg back in 1990ish. He was a lovely guy, always full of mischief and fun, but also caring and generous. We used to go biking - sometimes at night! -in (what was then) Seashore State Park and at Waller Mill up near Williamsburg, and we always had a good pool and disc golf rivalry going. I have such fond memories of our friendship and I am devastated that such a good man has gone so young. I count myself lucky to have known him and offer my sincere condolences to Mr & Mrs Duty, Sean (or is it Shawn?) and Clay.
