I feel fortunate to be among the many people George bestowed his kindness upon. For several years, I looked forward to seeing him every week at Waffletown during breakfast. He was an amazing man who touched many lives with his generous spirit and entertained everyone with his stories and sense of humor. He will be truly missed.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of George Stenke. He was special to me being Executive Officer aboard my first ship, the Rigel AF-58. He was instrumental in my training as a Jr. Officer and he instilled values that carried me through my Naval career.
Grateful for his positive influence and future years of friendship.
Jack Stevens, LCDR, USN, (Ret.)
