Hubert Dail went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by loved ones on April 26, 2021. He was born in Duplin County, North Carolina on August 15, 1935 to Earl and Wilma Dail.

After spending two years serving in the Army. Hubert graduated from Wake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, where he met the love of his life and wife of 63 years, Mona Hudson Dail. Following commissioning as an officer with the U.S. Navy, he proceeded to flight school in Pensacola, Florida. After many duty stations and twenty-five years of service he retired and began a second career as real estate agent, then broker and property developer, establishing Harmony House Realty and Enterprise Builders in Virginia Beach, VA.

Due to his love of flying he continued privately with his family in a small Moonie which he had purchased having many amazing adventures. In addition, he was an avid golfer, reader, and sports enthusiast, always rooting for Wake Forest and the Dallas Cowboys with pride. He and his wife are long-term members of King's Grant Baptist Church, serving surrounding communities in Va. Beach.

Hubert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mona. Also surviving are his three children Hubert Lee Dail Jr. (Joni), Monette Huffman, and Anna Alexander (Keith). He was predeceased by his brother Rubert Dail and his parents Earl and Wilma Parker Dail. He will be greatly missed by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A celebration of Hubert's life will be held at King's Grant Baptist Church on May 15th at 2 p.m.

Anna and Keith, I’m so very sorry to hear the sad news. Praying for you both and the entire family. I’m remembering all of God’s wonderful promises and how He keeps every single one. May His peace that surpasses all understanding fill your hearts.
