Franklin - Richard J. Amos, also known as "Shady Brook" and "Famous Amos" of Washington Avenue in Franklin, VA, passed away on April 3, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Hwy., Franklin, VA. The interment will be held in Southview Cemetery.
