Betty Ann Hart
Suffolk - Betty Ann Stewart Hart, 62, of Suffolk passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was the daughter of Agnes Stewart Hambrick and the late Hugh Belfield Stewart.
She is survived by her husband; F. Lee Hart, III; and his son, Spencer Lee Hart, IV of Arlington; mother, Agnes Stewart Hambrick of Lady Lake, FL.; brothers, Jim Baron Stewart(Lauren) of Mechanicsville, Bill Bacon Stewart(Linda) of Jacksonville, FL., and her beloved cat Alabama.
Betty was an active member of the Suffolk Chapter 173 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, secretary of Eta Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and she worked for many years for Western Branch Diesel. She was a kind, giving and generous person who's thoughts were always about others.
A funeral service will be conducted by Chaplin Frank Earnest on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St. Suffolk. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Suffolk Chapter 173 UDC c/o Nancy Parker, 5860 Bennetts Creek Ln, Suffolk, VA 23435. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com
