Dear Al,

So very sorry to hear about Susie. We had some fun times many years ago when on AD together as Navy Nurses. Will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Dear Al and family,

I just learned of Susie's passing today. She was such a lovely, caring person, and she made a huge difference in my life during Steve's first sea tour. She drove me to pick up my car, helped me figure out how to make sense of stateside Navy life, and, of course, welcomed me into the folk choir family. Steve and I have so many happy memories of times spent with all of you. Please know that you are in our prayers and that we are thinking of all of you.

Fondly,
Nancy
