Mrs. Whitehurst, Dennis, Dan and families, I only recently met Mr. Whitehurst, but I could immediately tell the type of man, husband and father he was. He was so spirited, kind, accepting, and enjoyed having a good time! I wished I could have gotten to know him so much better before his illness. Even so, I considered him a friend and was so saddened to hear of his passing. I believe friends are a gift from God. They bring us joy and happiness, and touch our lives in special ways, even only for a minute. That's why I can truly say how fortunate I am to have met Mr. Whitehurst and to have spent time with him! My prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
