Sandra Spruill Crumpler
Virginia Beach - Sandra Spruill Crumpler, 66, peacefully transitioned to heaven on March 21, 2018.
She was born in Edenton, NC, on May 15, 1951. She was raised on her family's farm in Roper, NC. and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1969. She was the second of four daughters to Edna F. and the late E. Wesley Spruill. Sandy was also preceded in death by her younger sister Cindy Spruill. She retired from the Norfolk Redevelopment Housing Authority after 38 faithful years of service.
In addition to her mother, those left to cherish sweet Sandy's memory is her husband Jack R. Crumpler, as well as her son Wes Crumpler and his wife Jen. She was also survived by the joys of her life her three grandchildren; Drake Day, Samantha Crumpler, and Kayla Crumpler. She additionally leaves behind her loving sisters Kathy Whitfield and Aida Stancil, as well as her nephew Alton Stancil and a niece Robin Stancil. Sandy's memory will also be carried on thru many dear friends and extended family members.
A ceremony to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 12 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320 with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends the evening before at the funeral home from 6-7:30pm.
