A bright, beautiful man of many masteries, Lukas Benjamin Petersen Lerner passed away suddenly of natural causes on Friday evening, April 30, 2021. He was 36 years old. His devotion to truth and love brought him near and far and indulged him in many areas of expertise including sailing, bagpipe making, theology, philosophy, electrician, husband, and father. He was an idealist and strived for the well-being of all. The fire of humanity, love, and beauty was his priority to tend, and all that he valued. He is survived by his wife, Autumn Lerner, their children, 2.5-year-old Eveline and 10 month-old Remi, his Mother, Mary, his sisters, Hannah and Aren, his direct in-laws, Mark, Bonnie, and Casin Ward, and Auston Craig, as well as extended family and friends in various corners of the globe.
A memorial gathering in his honor will be held from 11am-1pm Saturday, May 8, 2021. Please contact Bonnie Ward (970)749-2196 for location details. Wear blue plaid and black, and bring a chair, potluck dish and beverage.
