WAHLER FAMILY,
MANY YEARS AGO GORDON BROUGHT APPLES DOWN TO KIDRON AUCTION, KIDRON, OHIO- BUT
EVEN BEFORE THAT WE STOPPED AND LOADED UP
ON THE DELICIOUS FRUIT, THAT WE SO ENJOYED.
WE HAVE SPECIAL MEMORIES OF OUR VISITS WITH
HIM, BUT WE WERE VERY SURPRISED AT HIS AGE.
HE WAS ALWAYS OUR BEST FRIEND AND WE DEEPLY
REGRET HIS PASSING AND OFFER OUR HEARTFELT
SYMPATHY TO ALL OF YOU.
GOD BLESS, JOHN AND JANET SPRUNGER

I had Mr. Wahlers as my teacher when I attended Port Clinton HS. I don't remember if it was 10th grade or 11. (been 50 plus years ago). He was my favorite teacher. Many years after graduating I would run into Mr. Wahlers and he never ever forgot my name. We would always have a short but pleasant talk always asking how I was doing. He will be missed what a pleasant and caring man.
