PORTSMOUTH-Jack Thurman Martin, 50 of Portsmouth lost his battle with cancer Sunday February 21, 2021 in Chipley, Florida. He was born April 21, 1970 in Portsmouth, OH; son of late Ronald and Freda (Sizemore) Martin. He is survived by three brothers; Jimmey Martin of Minford, Steve Martin (Sarah Smith) of Minford, Tom (Tami) Martin of Minford. Five nieces Kristin, Stephanie, Jaclyn, Kelli, Hannah and two nephews Cody and Noah; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, and nephews. He also had many friends in Florida where he resided. In addition to his parents Jack is preceded in death by two aunts Marilee Thomas, Sue Lutz and one great nephew Maddox Lore. Jack enjoyed riding motorcycles and lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Desert Storm.

A private memorial will be Sunday March 7, 2021 at Harrison Township Cemetery.
