LINWOOD, NC-Wanda Faye Evans-Wright of Linwood, NC passed away on February 28, 2021 at Accordius Health of Lexington.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 6 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, OH. Burial will follow at Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Friday at the funeral home.

Wanda was born on January 25, 1936 to Oscar Paul Evans and Mildred Ethlyn Lamm Evans. Wanda spent her life working hard to do for others. She was a selfless woman who rarely put herself first. She loved camping, music, cooking, and baking. She had a gift of hair design and earned her degree and opened her own beauty salon in 1971. She will be gravely missed by all that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Wade Wright; her brothers, William Paul Evans (Cora); Lawrence Edward Evans (Joyce); Marion Gale 'Dutch' Evans (Rosanna), Marvin Dale Evans, Michael Robert Evans; sisters, Bonnie Lee Evans Murphy (Jack); Anetta Kay Evans, Patricia Lou Evans Blankenship (Joe), Christine Evans Albright (Ron), Karen Lynn Evans Munden; daughter, Pama Lee Wright; grandsons, Mark Anthony Wright Jr and Timothy Wade Wright.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sue Osman McClellan; sons, Timothy Wright and Mark Anthony Wright (Ginger); grandchildren, Justin McClellan, April Dawn Fletcher, Christopher C. Wright, Angelica M. Wright; sister, Cheryl Ann Evans Hossler (Joe) and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention but none the less equally treasured and loved.
