Martha E. Mansker, age 96, of Gary, Indiana passed away December 23, 2017. Martha retired from the Public Welfare Department in Gary, Indiana in 1984 and was a member of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church. She is survived by two sons Charles Mansker and Cecil Mansker, her sister Helen Cochran, grandchildren Marlene Mansker and Melissa Mansker, great grandchildren Justin Ellerby and Jasmine Mansker, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation: Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 12-8:00 pm at Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue. Prepass : Wednesday January 3, at 9:30 am with her home going service starting 11:00 am at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church 2425 West 19th Avenue Gary, Indiana. Interment: Evergreen Memorial Park Hobart, Indiana.

Charles and Cecil , it is with deep regret that upon hearing of the passing of your mother. I had no idea that she had passed but thought of her and Goggled her name since I had no idea where she was since she left the nursing home on 21st. St. Again I am truly sorry.

You have our deepest sympathy in the death but heavens gain of your beloved mother. Mrs Mansker and i worked at Dcfs for many years. She was also instrumental in uniting us with our nephew. I never saw her with out a smile on her face or a good word for someone. I pray God brings you strength in the days ahead. A Mother's love is forever.
