Delwynn Story Obituary
Delwynn (Del) Story II, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2020 in Appleton, WI at the age of 30.
Del was born July 12, 1989 in Milwaukee, WI. He later moved to Junction City, KS then to Appleton in 2001 where he graduated from Appleton East High School in 2008. He developed a passion for cooking after starting as a kitchen helper at Lawrence University.
Del was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a vibrant person that could light up any room with his happy go lucky persona, goofy demeanor, and amazing smile. He had a caring, generous heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Del is survived by his parents Katherine Wynn of Oshkosh, Delwynn Story of Milwaukee; his children Braelyn (9), Somera (8), Zayden (6) and Delwynn III (5); his brother Romell Wynn (Christine); sisters Stacia Wiggins & Monique Evans; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bessie & Cecil Story.
At this time, there will be no service. He will be cremated and laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, in Appleton, WI.

It´s hard to believe tomorrow will be 4 years you have been gone. So many things have happened and changed since you left. The kids are growing up so fast it´s scary. Delwynn reminds everyone of you (he loves music, raps to just about every song, and is sooo goofy), Somera is still a spitting image of you, and Braelyn still has your "tinky toes". Everyone misses you. RIP until everyone meets again.

I miss you so much Del. I can still hear your laugh. I can still feel you jumping on my back lol. I haven't been to your grave yet because if I don't go I just pretend it isn't true. Dad i miss u its been rlly hard without you. I just wish u were here rn. When i saw u it made me rlly happy. But what broke me the most is when the last text i got from u said "I love u to see you soon" then a few days later mom and angel told me that u were gone. life has just been rlly hard. for all of us. i just wish i could talk to u. i can barely visit ur grave bc i just start balling. I only learned of this. I wish I had been there for Del. He was there for me and I am currently alive today for it. My most sincere condolences to all of you. I will always remember and be grateful for Delwynn.

I remember me you and dionte would kick it by Amys n peewees in high school yall was my friends n we remained close friends all these years man this really devastates me this happened. Such an inspiration you were to many people you could make anyone smile on the worse of days glad we got to hang out and catch up not long ago you were my childrens god father and my forever friend and you will forever be missed! The kids miss you so much and tbh i wish more than anything this didnt happen. I am just glad that they got to tell you I love you one last time. Nothing can prepare me for what me and them are about to go through in life now knowing you won't be there for their first dance, first date, prom, graduation, and even one day when they get married...the pain of them going through the loss i had to previously suffer through doesnt even have words to describe. I will always remember you telling me no matter what happened that you loved me and our three children. One day we will all be reunited again, please watch over the kids until that day comes. We will love you always!

Man Del...this is a hard one for me! I know it took a minute for me to write this but Im having a hard time accepting this!! Heck you were my first full time babysitting job back in the day...You were a AWESOME AWESOME person with a heart of gold! You were always filled with so much joy and carried many smiles! Enough to brighten anyones day! I remember my first time here in Appleton and going into Walmart with you and you busted out in the middle of the store with the crunk dancing...which you were great at along with so many other things! You will be deeply missed and forever in my heart ❤

I haven't said anything yet because i haven't been able to come up with the words that would do any justice to describe how good of a person and friend you were. I realized that There aren't any words that exist that would do any justice to describe how good of a friend and person you were or how much you will be missed. Its hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that your really gone i don't want it to be true. I have to remind myself God has a plan for each and every one of us and this was part of his plan for you. Sometimes its hard to accept gods plan especially right now. My heart goes out to each n evwryone of you that is hurting at thid moment. The last time I seen Del he gave me a hug and had a huge smile on gis face when he walked through the door. I hope that those are the things people will remember about him. My heart hurts for the mother that has lost a son, the kids that have lost a father and for the sisters and brothers that have lost a brother. I wud like to tell u time heals the wound but it doesnt u eventually just learn how to cope with the hurt n pain of them being gone. It will be harder more days than not but jeep moving forward all of you! That's wat he would truly want I think. Dont mourn his life and loss, celebrate his life and you being lucky enough to have had him be a part of yours! I hope you guys all find comfort and love in one another and no matter wat he will 4ever b w. U no matter where u go. Please take care of one another! My thoughts r with you all!

Didnt get along at first I mean we hated each other like wanted to kill each other years later ran into each other and we put the childish crsp to the side and we became each other best friend talked few times a day ontop of hanging out everyday for the last 3 1/2 months and we confided in one and other. And I miss that man so much that I still find my self txting him and calling him. I find my self tearing up just writing this.
