We lost a wonderful person in Elsie but heaven is glowing with her charm and intellect. I am certain that her reunion with her sister Delma Carter-Nicholas (my wife) and her mom is a blessing. Best Regards to the Murray, Nicholas and Carter families.

I am so sad to hear of Elsie's passing. We go back to anesthesia school at St. Francis and I have fond memories of her warm smile, quiet manner and professional persona. She will be missed by all who knew and worked with her. She was a great role model nurse anesthetist.

To Elsie's Family-
Although I have not worked with her for many years, I truly loved having her as my co-worker. She was so kind, a fierce advocate for her patients and an amazing example of how to be a strong, yet gentle soul. My condolences to all of you- she will be missed!

I first met Elsie at a PANA meeting. I had moved to Pittsburgh from New England and didn't know anyone. She approached me and made me feel welcome and part of the community. She always had a smile and kind encouraging word or everyone.
She is remembered for her compassion and excellent clinical skills. She lives on as an inspiration to her friends and colleagues.
