Age 61, of Ambridge, on Monday, May 5, 2014. Beloved husband of Dr. Sharon L. Altman; beloved father of Rodney S. Altman, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and Dr. Ashley Altman (fiancé Aneil Baron) of Columbus, OH; and brother-in-law of Robert L. and Andrea Meals of Philadelphia, PA. Friends will be received Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., where a service will be held Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 at Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Saddened to learn of Rodney's passing. My thoughts and sympathy go out to Sharon, also a fellow classmate, and the rest of the Altman family. I will always remember his smile and great sense of humor.

I worked with Dr. Altman quite a few years ago and ran in to him last year. I was shocked that he remembered me. He was such a nice man! My thoughts and prayers are with his family & I am hoping that your memories can bring you some measure of peace.

Dr A touched and saved the lives of countless troubled children during his tenure ar grls. He will be sorely missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family and colleagues.
