I sadly heard the news just today of the passing of this amazing woman. My heart is broken as I have known Allison for over 20 years. She was a bridesmaid in the wedding of my first marriage and who I truly had as my sidekick through all the planning and stress and she even hosted my couples shower. As time passed, Al and I lost touch and only would message through FB from time to time. As we all know, life happens and friends grow apart but I always remembered her each year as she shared a September 15 birthday with my now 12-year-old twins. Allison was an amazing, loyal, funny and cherished friend and I wish I would have had the opportunity to reconnect with her to tell her how much I appreciated her and missed her. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Although I wasn’t able to say goodbye, the memories of our friendship will always be in my heart and I know you will always be with me.
