Galesburg - Craig E.E. Putnam, 36, of Galesburg, died January 1, 2021 in at home in Galesburg.
Craig was born September 14, 1984 in Galesburg, the son of Thomas E. and Linda K. (Snyder) Putnam. Craig is survived by his mom, Linda Putnam of Gladstone; his father, Thomas Putnam of Monmouth; twin sons, Patrick E.E. Putnam and Phillip E.E. Putnam both of Burbank, IL; two brothers, Tom Putnam and Andy Putnam, both of Monmouth; three sisters, Melissa (Tim) Rainey of Wentzville, MO, Michelle Thomas of Monmouth, and Maggie Putnam of Burlington, IA; and ten nieces and nephews. Craig was preceded in death by grandparents, Tom and Velda Putnam of Gilson, Polly Snyder of Galesburg; and a niece Riley Thomas.
Craig was employed by Thomas Landscaping in Monmouth. He had an eye for design and created many beautiful hardscape masterpieces for many clients. Craig enjoyed the outdoors fishing, gardening, and growing flowers. He had a love for cooking and enjoyed trying many new and different recipes.
Cremation will be accorded. A public visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory. Due to guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing, face masks, and limited occupancy will be enforced. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial of cremated remains will be at the Gilson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
