Nashville - Age 85, May 17, 2018. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Whitley & son, Michael Whitley. Doris was a member of Tusculum Church of Christ and retired from St. Thomas Hospital with 43 years of service as a R.N. Survived by daughter, Beth (Greg Poteet) Stiles; grandchildren, Jeremy (Crystal) Bowen, William (Lori) Bowen, Brandon (Tiffany) Bowen, Michael (Jennifer) Stiles & James Whitley; 5 great grandchildren; and sister, Billie Jo Lynn. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 19, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, HICKORY CHAPEL, 5852 Nolensville Road, by Harvey Hearn. Interment 4:00 p.m. at Welker Cemetery, Manchester, TN. Family will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 615-331-1952.
