Ellis "E.B." Brimmer, Jr. entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2021 at the age of 86. E.B. received his education in the West Baton Rouge Parish School System. E.B. served as a Seaman in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1957. He attended Southern University A&M College, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education in 1963. In 1966 he became certified in Drivers Education from Southern University. After his teaching career, E.B. entered the field of retail sales in 1967, working in that profession for 26 years. He was a member of Friendship Chapel B.C. in Baton Rouge, LA for 14 years, serving in many capacities. E.B. will be truly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Teleshia Brimmer (Marque) Square; brother, Branco Brimmer; 6 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Griffin Antoine, Geraldine H. Griffin, Liz Griffin, Lillie Griffin, Eliza Griffin and Loretta Brimmer; 3 brothers-in-law, Larry Griffin, Earnest Charles (Geraldine J.) Griffin and Phillip Griffin; special friend, Linda Robertson Antoine. Preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Brimmer, Sr. and Odies Lee Williams Brimmer; spouse, Rose Lee Griffin Brimmer; infant son; siblings, Ivory Brimmer, Sr., Rev. Leo S. Brimmer, Sr., Clifton L. Brimmer, Sr., Freddie C. Brimmer, Sr., Raymond Brimmer, Elouise Brimmer Carter, Enell Brimmer Francois, Orangel N. Brimmer and Lillie Mae Brimmer Antoine. Visitation Friday, February 26, 2021 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Hall's Celebration Center, 9348 Scenic Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA.
