HelenAnn (Peterson) Johnson, St. Cloud, MN, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, of Giant Cell Myocarditis. For more information visit www.myocarditisfoundation.org.
HelenAnn was born on October 19, 1938 in Braham, MN, to Len Byron and Vivian Isabel Verona (Olson) Peterson. She married Douglas H. Johnson on April 16, 1960.
Survivors include son David of Nashville, TN, and daughters Chris Ann and Ann Marie of St. Cloud; brother Ronald L. Peterson of Ogilvie, MN; sister-in-law Annie Lindsay of Princeton, MN; and Betty Sporleder of St. Joseph, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Doug, and brother Johnnie (John Allen) Peterson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 beginning at 1:00 pm at Salem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, with a service at 3:30 pm. Burial will be at a later date at Siloa Lutheran Church Cemetery, Braham. Funeral arrangements by Benson Funeral Home. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
