LAWRENCE WEISS Obituary

WEISS--Lawrence,

passed away peacefully on June 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and valiant battle with Leukemia. Larry will be forever remembered and cherished by his loving wife of 53 years, Suzanne, his children, Rob and Liz, his six grandchildren, Ethan, Anna, Devin, Catarina, Max, and Sasha, his sister, Judy, and niece, Jennifer. Larry lived life to the fullest, embracing his many passions for family, work, music, sports, and science. Larry was a kind and generous person who was deeply loved and respected by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Larry was born in Brooklyn in 1941. He attended Amherst College and received a law degree from Harvard University. After practicing law for eight years, Larry joined his father, Paul, at A.J. McNulty and Company, Inc. and Cranes, Inc., longtime family businesses in New York's construction and crane rental industries. For the last 26 years, he was proud to have had his son, Rob, by his side. Larry was a highly respected leader in the construction field, serving as officer, board member, and trustee on numerous industry associations. Larry will be deeply missed by his family and his wide circle of friends and business associates. Funeral service Sunday June 3rd at 9:00am at Larchmont Temple in Larchmont, NY.
