Mrs. Nathalie Seal Jones, age 83, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 3, 2018. She was born on April 6, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to James Ernest and Cordilla Lee Seal.
Mrs. Jones was a resident of both Walton and Okaloosa Counties in Florida for 10 years, moving here from Louisiana. She was Baptist by faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She enjoyed sewing; she made all her children's clothing, reading, and loved to cook. She was best known for spoiling her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her father and mother; four brothers, Jeff Seal, Jerome Seal, Jack Seal, and Jim Seal; two sisters, Betty S. Fuqua and Angie S. Fernandez.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her three sons, Charley Smith and wife Dorothy of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, James Alvin Smith of New Augusta, Mississippi, and William Smith and wife Glenda of South Bend, Indiana; one daughter, Nathalie Louise "Weezy" O'Berry of Silver Run, Mississippi; two brothers, Jeuel Seal of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jerry Seal and wife Diane of Albany, Louisiana; one sister, Carolyn S. Busby and husband Frank of Slidell, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 8,2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Church Street, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, with Reverend Tim Barrow officiating.
