We were saddened to raed of Peter's passingand wish to extend our sincere sympathy to Rosanne and the family.Peter was a good friend and neighbour to our mother and us while we were in Victoria. We have happy memories of meeting up with him and of his great sense of humour. To quote Kipling,he "could talk with crowds or walk with kings, nor lose the common touch"which must be one of the qualities which made him such a good diplomat.
Whenever we passed by and saw Peter sitting in his "ovalOffice" as we called it,we had a feeling of all being right in the world.
He will be sadly missed.
